Committee Looking for Students

Dryden-area youth are being recruited as the Mayor’s Committee for
the Prevention of Substance Abuse seeks volunteer support.
The group, that looks at drug and alcohol related issues, is down to
4-members.
Councilor Velma Silver sits on the Committee and says their profile
has been raised in the past weeks.
Silver says recent concerns have been raised about substance abuse
and they are trying to line-up a guest speaker to address schools and the
community.
