Plans to expand bus service in the region aren’t quite perfect according to one lobby group.
Common Voice Northwest wants to see more affordable ticket prices for trips between communities in the region, no matter the distance travelled.
They say that’s the only way to make sure people use the service.
The group notes they’re glad the province is supporting partnerships between Northland Transportation and private bus companies to expand service across the northwest.
