The Dryden Communities in Bloom committee is working hard in
preparation for the judges 3-day visit starting August 2nd.
The panel will tour the City evaluating several areas including
tidiness, floral displays, green spaces and community involvement.
Project Coordinator Don McDonald says local residents already do a
great job keeping the City clean, they just need efforts to continue.
Council has proclaimed July and August ‘Communities in Bloom Months’
This year’s event is the start of a quest that organizers hope will end
in 2010 with a National Communities in Bloom award.
