Community Foundation Moving Forward

The seed has been planted and now organizers of a proposed Community Foundation are hoping to see it grow.
The local Foundation would connect donors with various charitable organizations.
David Durance says they will move the project forward thanks to the feedback they received following community consultations in Dryden and Vermilion Bay.
Durance says the first step is forming a Planning Committee and apply for charitable status.
He hopes to have that Committee up and running by the end of the year.
The Foundation could be operational by this time next year.
