Community groups in Atikokan and the rest of the Rainy River School
District will now be able to use public schools more often for meetings
and other events.
The Province has given the School Board more than $37,000 to help eliminate costs for non-profit groups.
Superintendent of Education Terry Ellwood says classrooms, gyms,
cafeterias and auditoriums will be offered to groups at no cost.
