The Dryden Communities in Bloom Committee is back home after attending the National Awards Banquet in Southern Ontario.
The trip was worth it as Dryden picked up a perfect 5-bloom score and a National championship to go with it.
Coordinator John Borst says the judges were most impressed with Dryden’s community spirit and community involvement.
Winning the National Championship means Dryden won’t be able to enter the competition for another 2-years.
Borst says they will likely start planning something special for the 2010 Centennial year and could look at entering an International competition.
