COMRIF Failing the North

The Federal-Provincial COMRIF infrastructure program is failing to do
what its designed to do and that’s help Northern Ontario.
Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus delivered that message after several
local communities including Dryden failed to secure badly needed funding.
Angus claims the North only get’s 10% of the funding.
Angus points to remote Northern communities who are struggling to
deal with failing sewage, road and water lines.
Dryden has applied twice for funding for the water and sewage
treatment plant and has been turned down both times.
