The provincial government is giving Confederation College an extra 900 thousand dollars this year to operate its programs in northwestern Ontario.
Minister of Colleges and Universities, Chris Bentley presented the funding this morning to college president Pat Lang.
Lang says they will use the funding to carry out a couple of new programs in the region.

Lang says the funding for small, northern and rural colleges is the first time the province has recognized the six satellite campuses it runs in the region and the vast region it serves in northwestern Ontario.
