A Liberal back-bencher is questioning an OPP decision to centralize all its helicopter maintenance in Orillia.
Sudbury MPP Glenn Thibeault says the move will leave northern Ontario without any immediate service.
Thibeault says he has significant concerns about what this will mean for public safety.
The OPP says it has two helicopters in its fleet and will continue to make the service available to the entire province.
