1.9-million drivers in Ontario admit to driving while under the influence of cannabis.
The alarming statistic comes from a Canadian Automobile Association study which also finds that over 735,000 have done so over the past three months.
Another 205,000 have both smoked weed and drank before getting behind the wheel.
69% of those driving under the influence of pot are 25 to 35 years-old.
39% of novice, or first time drivers, admit to the practice.
Marijuana becomes legal in Canada on October 17th.
