Concerns over Future of Customs Service

Customs service will again be offered at the Dryden Regional Airport.
The service has been in place for 10 years and brings in thousands of
dollars for the Airport in the form of landing, terminal and fuel fees.
Manager George Friesen says the cost to offer customs is increasing and
notes they need Federal support.
Friesen says they have streamlined hours of operation as a way to cut
down on costs.
Customs was cancelled in 2001 but was restored a year later with
assistance from the Federal Government.
