Concerns Over Twinning of Trans-Canada

The Shoal Lake #39 First Nation is raising concerns about the proposed twinning of the Trans-Canada Highway from the Manitoba Border to Kenora.
Route planning has already started for the project, with construction slated to begin next year.
Chief Eli Mandamin says his people have not been properly consulted yet.
Mandamin says he has written to Kenora MP Greg Rickford asking for a meeting about the project.
