A strong turnout for a one day symposium on head injuries in hockey on Saturday at the Centre in Dryden.
Those in attendance heard from medical experts, coaches as well as local players who have suffered concussions.
NHL legend Ken Dryden facilitated the event and stated it gave everyone a chance to brainstorm ideas on how to prevent head injuries.
Dryden stresses the personal stories from young players who have suffered concussions really hit home and empashized the seriousness of the issue.
The speakers talked about the dangers of coming back early and ensuring everyone is accountable when dealing with head injuries.
