Confederation College Forestry Program Deemed a Su

45 Aboriginal youth from various First Nation communities have graduated from the Confederation College Forest Ranger program.
The initiative has been flourishing since its inception 4 years ago.
Coordinator David Archibald says the rangers spend most of the 6 week program in the bush near Dryden and Upsala, honing their skills with tree planting and firefighting equipment.
Archibald says their goal is to keep more people in the region to work in the forestry industry.
