Confederation College Funding

Confederation College Campuses across the Region will benefit from Provincial Government funding for apprenticeship programs.
The School will use 500-thousand dollars to provide training on electronic diesel engines and another 350-thousand to help experienced workers access a career in the skilled trades field.
Spokesperson Reg Jones says while the money was needed, it still doesn’t address the main problem.

The financial crunch forced the College to axe some of its Thunder Bay programs this year however local campuses were not affected.
