Confederation College Meets With Area Students

Sixteen different Ontario Colleges are out promoting themselves to area high school students.

The annual College Information Program tour stopped in Dryden and Ignace on Monday.

Confederation College’s Cheryl-Lyn Lamers says it’s aimed at helping students find out about programs they want.

Lamers says if one school doesn’t offer a certain course, others are on site to provide additional information.

She notes most of the graduating students tend to stay in the region and that’s why they want to target them early.

Lamers says students will be able to apply for the Fall 2019 intake starting in October.
