Confederation College Program for First Nations

Starting in May, First Nations in Northwestern Ontario will have better access at getting jobs thanks to a Confederation College program.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says the training will translate into jobs right away.
Confederation College President Pat Lang says the program is customized to meet the needs of participants.
250-training opportunities have been offered to 5 area First Nations to prepare participants for jobs in the energy and mining sectors.
Courses will be offered on-reserve and by Confederation College.
