Confederation College Ranks High In KPI Report

Confederation College continues to perform above the provincial average.
President Jim Madder says according to the Key Performance Indicators Report, they are ranked number one for employer satisfaction with a rate of 97.5%, while the provincial average is 93.4%.
Last year, they ranked fourth in that category.
Madder says they also ranked high in the graduate employment rate, and came second in the graduate satisfaction rate.
However, the report pointed out that there was a bit of a decline in the graduation rates in two-year programs from last year.
Madder adds that they call students and ask why they didn’t return for the second year, and the most common answer is that they got a job in the field they wanted, and are making a comfortable wage.
Madder says they will continue to look at what programs these students are in, and see if they can offer more opportunities with distance education.
These findings include all of the regional campuses, including Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.
