Confederation College Ready For New School Year

It’s Orientation Day Tuesday as a new school year at Confederation College gets underway.

President Kathleen Lynch says enrolment is projected at about 3,200 students.

Lynch says they have 1,878 first year students attending classes as well as 1,310 returning students.

She notes over 800 international students are also part of the overall total.

Meantime, there is a new addition to the Confederation College main campus.

The tech hub building is ready to open in Thunder Bay, however there will be an official grand opening in October.

The new building cost $19-million to construct.
