Confederation College Will Be Busy In Dryden

Classes at Confederation College in Dryden are in full gear and it’s going to be a busy year.
The local Confederation College campus is welcoming 60 new full-time students this fall and another 30-returning students.
Director Angelina Anderson says it makes a difference for local people to come to school in their home community.
Anderson adds being able to have college programs here at home allows people to receive new training without leaving the community.
She says they have a great mix of students coming directly from High School to those in their 40’s looking for retraining.
Anderson notes the school is offering roughly 15-programs this fall.
Popular programs include social services, paramedic as well as the return of the Bachelor of Science and Nursing course.
