Connor Howie Elected To Sioux Lookout Council

Connor Howie is the new Councillor in Sioux Lookout.

The member of the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority won the 2020 Municipal By-Election by earning 36.1% of the votes.

Darlene Angeconeb was close behind at 28.9%, while Michael Quince was third at 24.6%.

Nick Costello received 10.4% support on the ballot.

Voter turnout was 32.4%.

Howie takes over the vacant Council seat left open following the September passing of Councillor Calvin Southall.

Turnout: 939 (32.4%) of the 2,895 electors voted in this ballot.
4 electors declined their ballot; they are included in the turnout.

Connor Howie: 338 (36.1%)
Darlene Angeconeb: 270 (28.9%)
Michael Quince: 230 (24.6%)
Nick Costello: 97 (10.4%)
