Thief River Falls Norskies defenceman Connor Kalthoff has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
In a pair of outings, the 19-year-old from Sartell, Minnesota, scored in both of them and helped lead his club defensively for a pair of victories over Wisconsin.
Kalthoff finished with an assist and two goals, one a game winner.
Since joining Thief River Falls earlier this month, he has played at a point-per game pace. (3-goals and 5-assists)
The Norskies record is 5-2-1 in that span.
Dryden GM forward Josh Weber and Ryan Howe of the Red Lake Miners also received consideration.
