Conservation Course Underway in Dryden

A new school is taking part in the 54th Annual Dryden High School Conservation Course.
24-students from Queen Elizabeth High School in Sioux Lookout have joined Grade 10 DHS students for the 3-day course underway in Dryden.
The goal of the program is to increase students awareness of resource use and the challenges faced in resource management.
Activities are taking place at a number of locations including Aaron Park and Domtar’s harvesting operation in the Wabigoon Forest.
Domtar, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Public School Board are involved in the Conservation Course.
