Conservative Candidate In Lakehead For Hearings

Kenora Riding Conservative candidate Randy Nickle says twinning Highway 17 and tourism are two big ticket items he plans to bring up with the provincial government.
Nickle is in Thunder Bay today for pre-budget consultations.
Nickle says tourism centres play a vital role in the region and the government has made a mistake by closing them.
He also says local residents are frustrated with the lack of action on twinning the Trans-Canada from Kenora to the Manitoba boundary.
The move was promised by the province but Nickle says the government keeps making excuses on why the project isn’t moving forward.
