Construction of Suspension Bridge Starts Today

Work is finally set to get going on Dryden’s new tourist attraction.
Director of Public Works Mike Louttit says construction of the Pedestrian Suspension Bridge starts Monday.
The project is expected to take 12-weeks to complete.
Director of Public Works Mike Louttit says the public won’t be impacted during construction.
The bridge will provide a scenic view of the river rapids, the historic mill and the current mill.
The project has been scaled down but was made possible thanks to a $21,000 annoymous donation.
