Services and programs in Dryden will be under the microscope in the near future.
Council has voted in favour to issue a Request for Proposal looking for an outside consultant to conduct a Core Service and Operational Review.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says it will include discussions, surveys and focus groups with the public and business community.
The group and city will also look at other communities with similarities to Dryden and see what services they offer.
The only services that won’t be included in the review are the Dryden Police Service, public library and the Dryden Development Corporation.
Nuttall says they are currently looking at pricing for consultants, adding they will definitely look at what experience they have doing something like this.
The Request for Proposal is expected to be issued July 19th.
