Contact North Continues to Grow

Distance Education continues to be a growth industry in Northern Ontario.
Contact North says it has seen a 6% enrolment increase for the Fall Semester and the number of courses offered has increased by 7%.
Officials believe the final figures will show double digit growth for the upcoming academic year.
Marketing Co-Ordinator Louise Gaudreault says distance education has become a popular option as it allows people to upgrade their education, without leaving their community.
