Contract in Place for Teachers

The Rainy River District School Board has ratified a new 4-year contract
with both its Elementary and Secondary teachers.
Director of Education Warren Hoshizaki says one of the main issues
was workload.
Both the Secondary and Elementary teachers will have 200-minutes of
preparation time and they will also receive a 10.64% wage increase
over the life of the contract.
