Contract Ratified

A number of essential services will continue to be offered in Sioux
Llookout thanks to a new contract for Municipal workers.
The agreement impacts about 74-employees in day care, airport, recreation,
roads, sewer and administration.
The deal provides a 7.75% wage increase over the term of the
contract.
Town CAO Merlin Dewing says the agreement will allow them to offer
improved and efficient services.
The workers are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
