Contract Talks Back On

Rainy-River District School Board officials are heading back to the
bargaining table with their teachers to try and iron out new contracts.
Director of Education Warren Hoshizacki says the Board will sit
down this week with both the Elementary and Secondary teachers unions.
Although accords have already been reached at the Provincial level,
Hoshizacki hopes the Government will release the necessary funding to go
along with them.
The Province wants all teacher contracts settled by June 1st.
