The Union representing Land Ambulance workers and Clerical Staff in the Kenora District will be sitting down with an arbitrator next month to try and resolve a contract impasse.
The Paramedics have been without a contract since September of 2001 and have been unable to negotiate a new deal with the Kernora District Services Board.
A meeting with an arbitrator is tentatively set for May 25th.
Contract talks fell apart last year, with wages still the main stumbling point.
