The City of Dryden has gained ownership of one of its most popular
parks.
Weyerhaeuser handed the Cooper Park property over to Mayor Anne
Krassilowsky at a special ceremony on Canada Day.
Company Spokesperson Bonnie Skeene says the park is an important part
of Dryden.
Skeene notes the park is used by everyone and she is pleased that the property will remain in the cities hands.
Krassilowsky says the property is in a great location and is
instrumental in Canada Day activities.
