Costly Campfire for Winnipeg Men

3-Winnipeg men have been ordered to pay $6,000 to cover a
portion of the cost of putting out a major forest fire in the Kenora area.
Last April, Ministry of Natural Resources Fire Crews were called to a
blaze near Woodchuck Bay Road, 30-kilometres west of Kenora.
The MNR says 21-year-old’s Ian McAulay, William Funk and Adam Jones
pleaded guilty for not tending to their campfire.
It cost the MNR $38,000 to put out the fire.
