A former Sioux Lookout resident has been fined $1,200 for lying to a Conservation Officer and having a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
37-year-old Conrad Wesley of Winnipeg was stopped in October 2006 on Highway 516, north of Sioux Lookout.
Conservation officers found a loaded rifle and discovered the man lied to them when stating he was in the area working for a forestry company.
