2-men from Maine have been fined over $2,000 following a hunting trip just northwest of Kenora.
William Pinet and Kurt Christenson were both convicted and fined for lying to a Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officer.
Pinet was also fined for shooting a wolf without a licence.
The two made multiple false statements to Conservation officers, but eventually confessed to officers about shooting the wolf prior to it being licensed.
