The final Dryden City Council meeting of 2007 was a busy one.
Council officially agreed Monday to donate $75,000 to the
Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation for the purchase of a CT Scan
Unit.
The money will come from the City’s hydro reserves.
Council also agreed to give pre-budget approval to Public Works for the
purchase of a landfill compactor, which is expected to expand the life of the
Highway 502 landfill site by a couple of years.
The City also renewed its service agreement with the Dryden Handicapped
Association for the operation of Handi-Transit and agreed on a $5
increase for dog licenses.
