A step forward for the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Director of Public Works and Engineering Mike Loutitt says they have developed drawings and plans for a renovation of the Dryden Arena.
It’s not a for-sure at the moment, but Loutitt says funding for a second round of RINK could be coming in the future, but is unsure of when.
Loutitt says the total cost of the renovations would be around $12 million.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says he likes the idea and think it will greatly benefit the community, but with the city in debt over $40 million, it’s not likely at the moment.
