Council of Mayors Formed

Work is underway to establish a Council of Northern Mayors.
Thunder Bay Mayor Keith Hobbs says the group would lobby the Provincial and Federal governments with one voice.
Hobbs says the new Council is not intended to override the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
Hobbs notes the new lobby group will tackle issues from energy to the Ring of Fire.
Hobbs says the Council is now coming up with a terms of reference.
