Council Paves The Way For New Housing Complex

The City of Dryden has approved a site plan agreement with Bridge Road Investments to develop a seniors housing complex.

The apartment complex on Van Horne Avenue will consist of three, 24-unit, 4-storey buildings, with indoor tenant parking on the first floor of each building.

Additional visitor parking will be located on the property.

The next step is the official transfer of land to Bridge Road Investments.

The agreement ensures that the existing trees along the north and west side of the property will be retained and the contractor must abide by storm water requirements.

The developer will also be responsible for the costs of relocating a street light standard.

Construction of the building is expected to begin this Fall.
