Three Northwestern Ontario court houses will be sharing
682 thousand dollars in provincial funding.
Kenora will be utilizing 262-thousand for upgrades to
their security systems.
Dryden’s share of 131 thousand will expand their
boardroom to create a multi-purpose room for bail hearings
and meetings.
While, Thunder Bay’s 289 thousand will go towards
maintenance work at the two courthouses to comply with
requirements under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
The Ministry of the Attorney General is investing 3.7
million dollars in 18 court houses in communities across
Ontario.
