A new development in the breach of trust and obstructing justice charges against the Chief of the Thunder Bay Police.
Court documents allege that JP Levesque last December “did willfully attempt to obstruct, pervert or defeat the course of justice by disclosing confidential information concerning Mayor Keith Hobbs”.
Mayor Hobbs was contacted by Acadia News but is not commenting at this time.
The Police Chief is due in Thunder Bay court June 13th.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
