The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has been notified of COVID-19 exposures impacting Sioux Narrows Public School and Valleyview Public School.
The KPDSB says it is working closely with Northwestern Health Unit on next steps.
The positive cases are being followed up with by NWHU and all contacts will be called and given instructions by public health.
The Health Unit has advised we move one classroom in each school to virtual learning to allow time for contact tracing.
Families in the closed classrooms have been contacted by school board staff Saturday afternoon.
The KPDSB says it is working with NWHU to make sure all risks are minimized.
