COVID Cases In Emo Linked To Schools And Church

The Emo area is reporting three COVID-19 cases.

One is linked to an outdoor Easter church service.

In a Facebook post which has now been deleted, the Calvary Baptist Church reported a member of its church family contracted the virus with several others reported being sick.

The Church stated some were awaiting COVID testing.

Two other cases are connected to schools.

The Rainy River District School Board says both cases at Donald Young School and Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program are staff members.
