CP Engineers and Conductors Set Strike Date

CP Rail trains could be in shut down mode later this month.

The union representing the company’s conductors and locomotive engineers says members have voted over 94% in favour of strike action to back demands for a new contract.

Teamsters Canada Rail Conference says CP is asking for cuts and concessions at a time when the company is posting billions of dollars in profits.

The union has set a strike date of April 21st. (File Photo)
