The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Rail Company says there were no injuries as a result of a train derailment just east of Kenora.

CPKC says the derailment took place around 4:00 yesterday afternoon in a remote area.

The train was pulling intermodel shipping containers, and the rail company say none of the cars were carrying dangerous goods.

Crews are currently on site cleaning up the wreckage.
