Canadian Pacific Railway is warning local snowmobilers to be careful
around tracks.
A number of incidents have been reported recently including the tragic
death of a Dryden teenager last month.
CPR Spokesperson Ed Greenberg says the death sadly underscores the
dangers associated with operating a machine near railway tracks.
He says it’s essential for CPR to work with local communities
and snowmobile clubs to promote safe practices.
Greenberg says sledders should not ride on tracks and should be aware
of their surroundings when crossing.
