Say good bye to those pesky high pressure sales people who coming knocking at your door.
Door-to-door contracts have been among the top complaints received by the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
Minister Tracy McCharles says the government is now banning those sales.
McCharles says they are now cracking down on the sale of things like air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, and air and water purifiers by traveling salespersons.
She stresses there will be stiff penalties for anyone who violates the new law.
The new rules indicate that a salesperson can only enter a home if invited and any contract you sign has a 10 day cooling off period for you to change your mind.
Charities are exempt from the law.
