Crash Update

OPP are reporting the deaths of four people, including 3 Americans, after a small float plane crashed into Fawcett Lake Tuesday afernoon.
The Dehavilland Beaver, owned by Pickerel Arms Camps of Sioux Lookout, was reported missing after leaving a tourist camp on route to Fawcett Lake.
Peter Hildebrand, of the Transportation Safety Board, says search and rescue crews arrived at the crash site late this afternoon.
However, he cautions it could be late today before any progress is made on the recovery effort.
Hildebrand says no bodies have been found.
No word on the cause of the crash nor the identity of the occupants.
