Crescive Corporation has launched the ‘Community Partners at Work’
campaign to thank area businesses who act as mentors to area youth.
The Passport to Prosperity program gives students the opportunity to
explore different careers by teaming up with an employer.
School to Work Officer Margaret Paquette says a number of businesses
have supported the initiative.
Paquette says roughly 2-thousand employers across the region provided
workplace experience this year.
This year, Wawatay Native Communications in Sioux Lookout, Ignace
Nursery School and Draco Limited in Red Lake were recognized as champion
employers.
