Northwestern Ontario Crimestoppers cleaned up at the annual provincial awards ceremony this week.
The local Crimestoppers program won a number of media awards and also was presented the 2004 special project award.
Garry Potter is co-ordinator of the local Crimestoppers and says the award recognized the work done to expand the program into northern Minnesota.

Potter also won the International Association of Crimestoppers Presidential Award, recognizing his “outstanding” contributions to Crimestoppers in the region.
